Welcome to the inaugural Nib and Ink Fest! We have a ton of incredible events planned for the month of May ranging from panels on how to improve your comics craft to portfolio reviews! All of them are free to attend for EVERYONE. All events are digitally broadcast, many of them live, so tune in every weekend without leaving your desk or on your favorite mobile device!
Instead of registering for events, each event link will open up a few minutes before start time, so be sure to check each event on its date to attend!
Three creators talk about their experiences with transitioning their experimental fancomics into original work. Spicyyeti will be telling you why every artist should just start publishing their comics on their own websites, and going through his process for more experimental webcomics between both fan (Jade Route, Y12k) and original (Godhead) projects. Max Banshees will be focusing on zines and cyanotypes, discussing the challenges and influences of collaborating with other fanartists across country lines. Alexis Rippen will be talking up self publishing and self education: the world is at your fingertips and you can write and print and distribute whatever you want. nn*This talk will be pre-recorded ahead of the airing time.
